Weigh In #3

That's up 1.1 pounds

I do not understand. I ate under 1200 calories and exercised 4 out of the 7 days. Am I eating too little? Am I not exercising enough or hard enough? Was it my period?

I'm not going to get discouraged. I take comfort in seeing curves and shapes in my body that were not there two weeks ago. I feel and see change happening. It's just not registering on the scale.

  1. Don't be discouraged-- I completely understand, you have been doing so well and why on earth would the scale go up? I am just starting my weight loss journey on blogging, but I know how you feel from previous experience. It could be water weight, your period, or maybe you aren't eating enough and your body is going into starvation mode. I'm not sure exactly how many calories your body needs, but you could always look into that. Keep up the good work and maybe next week will surprise you!

  3. I love your attitude - the way you focused on the positive is a sign you'll succeed. :)

    Yet another reason for the increase - if you've been working out 4 out of 7 days, it could also be muscle. It isn't unheard of to gain 1 lb of muscle in 7 days. Are you measuring body fat percentage as well?
